K.C.Berg published her first article in 1975, and her work has since appeared in both national and international magazines.  In addition to "In the Light of the Passing: Book 1", Ms. Berg has written and produced six stage plays. Her one-act play, Adamantine, was named a finalist in a national competition and went on to be performed in New York City in February of 1996.

K.C. Berg received her Master of Science Degree from Silver Lake College, Manitowoc, Wisconsin in May, 2007. She also studied Creative Writing at Lawrence University, Appleton, Wisconsin, where she received the Mary. E. Morton scholarship for a short story entitled Bonds. The author lives in northeast Wisconsin and, when not  restoring her turn-of-the-century house or writing, she teaches English Composition, Communication, and Business at local technical colleges.  The author is currently at work on her next novel, a Christian fantasy, and is acting editor on a compilation of original stories for a local humane society.
